Annette Adams-Brown

Creative Director & Program Director

​

Annette Adams-Brown is a professional actress who has performed

on stage and in commercials, training videos, and movies, including

a recent project with Paramount Pictures. As former associate artistic director of the Paul Robeson Performing Arts Co., Ms. Annette designed and led creative collaborations between community performers and professional artists. Ms. Annette is a patient educator in the Clinical Skills program at Upstate Medical University and other colleges and universities in New York. She has a BA in theater production from

the University of Arizona. 

Marcia Andrews-Hagan

Music Director

​

Marcia Andrews-Hagan began singing as a child at her father’s church in Alabama.  At age 14, she received a scholarship to attend Syracuse University’s Setnor School of Music. An award-winning playwright, choreographer, pianist, and singer, Ms. Marcia’s work has been performed in the eastern United States and in Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Cote d’Ivoire, Italy, Germany, and France. Ms. Marcia has performed with Stevie Wonder, Shirley Caesar, the Count Basie Orchestra, and Lionel Hampton; and for Coretta Scott King, Jesse Jackson, and Maya Angelou.
